Jellyfish can be found in every ocean on earth, from the shallows/surface waters, to the deepest depths. Because they are 98% water, when the wash up on shore, they will evaporate within a few hours and all but disappear.
Jellyfish have roamed the seas for at least 500 million years making them the oldest multi-organ animal. They are some of the most fascinating creatures in the ocean; knowing that they spontaneously evaporate simply adds to the long list of amazing features of the Jellyfish.
